Getting started
What is RichDue?
Money clarity for people who earn a lot but aren’t rich yet. It shows your net worth today, where it’s heading over the next 12 to 36 months, and what a bonus, vest, commission or client payment will do. You add the numbers from screenshots, bank alerts, statements or a quick log, and it asks before saving anything.
What do I need to start?
Six questions about how you’re paid and what you have. You get an estimate of your net worth and a projection straight away, marked Estimated. Add real numbers when you have a minute and the estimate becomes measured.
Why do some numbers say Estimated?
They come from your onboarding answers rather than from statements, so they’re drawn dashed. Import a statement or update a balance and that number turns solid.
Does it work on iPhone and the web?
Both, on one account; what you add on one shows on the other. Android comes later.
Using RichDue as a couple
- One of you owns the account and signs in.
- Add both salaries as income sources (Income › Add income), so the projection covers the whole household. Clients and bonuses work the same way.
- Shared logins, where each of you signs in to the same household, come later.
- Please don’t share a sign-in: the Terms say one account is for one person.
Getting your numbers in
Do I have to link my bank?
No. RichDue doesn’t connect to banks or use bank-sync services. You bring the numbers you choose to share, and RichDue asks before saving them.
How do my transactions get in?
Whichever way is easiest for you:
- Drop a statement or export on the web: CSV, Excel, QFX/OFX, QIF or a PDF statement.
- On iPhone, screenshot your bank app, or share a bank alert or a file to RichDue.
- Paste or type a week into the grid on the web.
- Log one purchase at a time from the Log button or the iPhone widget.
Every import is shown to you as a preview first. Nothing is saved until you confirm.
Will importing an overlapping statement create duplicates?
No. RichDue matches rows it already has, including ones you logged by hand, and shows the duplicates in the preview so you can check them. Transfers between your own accounts are paired, so they don’t count as spending.
My file was read wrong. What now?
In the preview, open the column mapping and tell RichDue which column is which; it remembers that layout next time. If it still looks wrong, email us the bank’s name and file type (not the file) and we’ll ask for a redacted sample if we need one.
What happens to a file after I upload it?
It sits in private storage only you can reach while you review it, then it’s deleted automatically after 7 days. iPhone screenshots stay on your phone: they’re read on the device and only the rows you keep are sent.
Your data
You can take a copy of everything RichDue holds about you, or delete it, at any time. Both are free.
Export a copy
Email us from the address on your account and ask for an export. We send JSON and CSV files of everything tied to your account, usually within a few days and always within 45. An Export button in Settings › Data & privacy is on the way.
Delete your account
Email us from the address on your account. We delete your account and everything tied to it, uploaded files included, and confirm by email, usually within a few days and always within 45. Want a copy first? Say so in the same email. A Delete account button in Settings › Data & privacy is on the way.
Deleted data leaves our live database at once and our provider’s encrypted backups within 30 days. Billing records we must keep by law stay with Apple or our payment provider.
Delete or fix one thing
Edit or delete any transaction in Activity, change a balance on its account’s page, and edit your income on Income. If something is wrong that you can’t change, tell us and we’ll correct it.
On the waitlist?
Email us from the address you signed up with and we’ll remove your entry and answers.
Plans
What does it cost?
Free during the beta. Pro is planned at $89.99 a year or $12.99 a month, with a free plan that keeps your net worth, quick log, the current month and one import a month.
Do I need a card for the trial?
No. The trial doesn’t ask for a card, and when it ends you keep the free plan.
How do I cancel?
Paid plans aren’t on sale yet. When they are: on iPhone, in your Apple Account’s subscriptions; on the web, in Settings. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. The terms have the details.
Privacy and security
Do you sell my data?
No. We don’t sell it, share it for advertising or use it to train AI models. The privacy policy lists exactly what we keep and who processes it.
Who can see my numbers?
You. Every table that holds your data enforces row-level security, so your sign-in can read only your rows. Our staff can see your email, plan, when you joined and were last active, and how many accounts and imports you have. They can’t see balances, transactions or files. Every look-up is logged. The privacy policy says the same.
Does AI read my statements?
No. Files are parsed by our own code. If we add AI help for unfamiliar file layouts, it will get column headers and a few sample rows without amounts, and the privacy policy will say so first.
I live in California. What are my rights?
To know, get a copy of, correct and delete your personal information, and not to be treated differently for asking. The California privacy notice explains each one and how to ask.
