How to export your Apple Card transactions
Download your Apple Card transactions as a file you can keep, open in a spreadsheet or bring into RichDue.
Checked on against the sources linked under each part. Apple Card moves its menus from time to time, so each step names the words to look for.
In Wallet on iPhone
- Open Wallet on your iPhone and tap Apple Card.
- Tap “Card Balance”, then a monthly statement under “Statements”.
- Tap “Export Transactions” and choose the file format.
- Save it to Files, or AirDrop or email it to your computer.
card.apple.com has your monthly statements as PDFs (RichDue reads those too); the transaction files come from Wallet.
Which file to choose
Choose OFX. CSV works too.
QFX and OFX files carry an id for every transaction, so a month you download twice doesn’t double anything.
How far back you can go
One file per monthly statement, from your first statement on, so the current month arrives once its statement closes. Export each month you want.
What’s in the file
Purchases are positive and payments and credits negative. Merchant is a clean name (“Whole Foods”) next to the raw description, and Purchased By names who bought it on a shared card.
What RichDue handles for you
- The export lives in Wallet on the iPhone, not on the website. Save the file to Files or send it to your computer, then add it on richdue.com.
- Apple prints purchases as positive numbers. RichDue flips them, and uses the clean Merchant name rather than the raw description.
Bring it into RichDue
Start free, answer six questions, then open Import and drop the file. RichDue shows every row before anything is saved: duplicates, transfers between your accounts and categories are marked, and you confirm.
Screenshots, bank alerts, statements or two taps: RichDue reads them, catches duplicates and asks before saving.
